In 2018, I came to DriveLink to help take us from a private grocery fleet into OTR dry van freight. I’ve been in trucking 16 years, everything from one truck to fleets of 13,000, but this is where it all came back together for me. We’ve doubled in size, built steady freight with long-term customers, and focused on consistency so you know what to expect week in and week out.
I serve as Safety Director, but I’m involved in just about everything—truck selection, operations, even payroll. That’s because I believe if we’re going to ask you to do the job, we need to understand every part of it ourselves.
What I appreciate most is that drivers come first here. You’re not just a number, we know you, we listen, and we do what we say we’re going to do. Being back in a hands-on, smaller operation reminds me what trucking is supposed to be: taking care of people, running safe, and keeping you moving with consistent miles.
